Enterprise Blockchain Provider Blocko Brings Aergo To UAE

What has Blocko done so far? It scaled from a team of two to a team of eighty. From zero clients to winning the hearts of Samsung, Hyundai, LG, Shinhan Bank, and even the South Korean government.

All this took less than five years. And now, going forward the company is all set to enter UAE with its enterprise solution.

Today, Blocko announced its partnership with the Dubai-based SEED Group. If you didn’t know, SEED Group operates under The Private Office of Sheikh Saeed Bin Ahmed Al Maktoum, who is a billionaire from the Al Maktoum family.

In total, Blocko has raised $16 million investment from Asia, and has been dealing with enterprises in South Korea, UK, Hong Kong, and now UAE.

Blocko To Work With Aergo Blockchain

Blocko will be setting up and deploying Aergo’s solution in UAE. As Aergo offers a hybrid public-private blockchain technology, Blocko will act as a catalyst seeking projects from government and enterprises in UAE.

Blocko will assist in deploying, scaling, and offering a stable environment using the Aergo’s platform.

Speaking about this market entry, Phil Zamani — co-CEO of Blocko and founder of Aergo — said:

“We launched Aergo in response to the growing need for data sharing between industries and companies in areas such as identity verification, document management and the Internet of Things – the same areas in which the Middle East in particular is seeking practical solutions.”

Impacting UAE Businesses Through Blockchain

With the use of blockchain in UAE for transactions and processing documents, an estimated savings of $3 billion has been projected. Blocko will play a crucial role in this.

In fact, Blocko will also provide any support, infrastructure assistance, and consultation services for businesses in UAE. The vision is larger than life, in many ways, as Phil believes in discovering businesses that are creating impact. He says:

We want projects that create an impact for not only UAE vision 2021 but impact for business, for government, for local government to move things forward faster using this digital technology. So we are really looking for references, large-scale projects that we are successful together with.

Both Aergo and Blocko are closely connected. And this partnership with SEED group will facilitate growth — as it will accelerate the process of identifying potential companies seeking enterprise-ready solutions.
