Even though Kucoin is a promising cryptocurrency exchange, it has its fair share of problems. For example: You cannot withdraw or transfer your coins from Kucoin. Not so easily right now.
In the past, moment you request a withdrawal, Kucoin sends you a confirmation message to your registered email address. You go to your email, open that message and confirm your withdrawal.
Now, however, we have observed two significant issues:
Issue #1: Delay In Withdrawal Email
Kucoin is not sending withdrawal confirmation message to your email address. From a handful of complaints we have witnessed, it appears this email arrives late – mostly after 15 to 20 minutes.
This delay has left a lot of users frustrated. In fact, if you are one of them, make sure to check your spam folder as well. You may find this withdrawal email there.
Why does it happen? Perhaps it is because Kucoin is using SendCloud (which has partnered with Sendgrid) to send emails, and SendCloud isn’t manufactured to handle the current load.
Issue #2: If You Have Unsubscribed, You Will Not Receive Withdrawal Emails
This is a major issue that needs to be addressed here. If you have unsubscribed from Kucoin’s newsletter / emails, then you are never going to receive withdrawal verification emails.
It is happening because of the recent change in Kucoin’s system.
Apparently, the moment you hit the Unsubscribe button, SendCloud deletes you from its email database, and therefore all the future emails – including withdrawal emails – never make it to your inbox.
What is the solution? Resubscribe , or get in touch with the Kucoin support to whitelist your email.
